Frequently asked questions
What are the sizes of the Demonic clown masks?
Small: 9-10x8-10 Large: 11x10 in inches.
Are foam latex prosthetics re-usable?
They are meant for one time use but with careful application and removal they can be re-used up to 2 more times, or until the adhesion no longer sticks to the prosthetic. Small prosthetics that are not full face are much more difficult to re-use as each time you re-apply the seam line is more noticeable.
What is the difference between the open and closed mouth in the Demonic clown masks?
The closed mouth prosthetic is a closer, more screen accurate sculpt while the open mouth prosthetic is away from the mouth area to ensure longevity of the prosthetic with mouth movement and expressions.
How do you apply foam latex prosthetics?
For unpainted prosthetics prior to application, paint a thin layer of PAX paint included in the kit (or purchased separately) only on the prosthetic.
Begin by cleaning the desired area with any percentage of alcohol.
Add one pass of pros-aide adhesive on the area of skin and behind the prosthetic, then, let it dry until the adhesive turns clear.
Apply the prosthetic carefully from the center of the face outward for full face prosthetics and from one edge out for smaller pieces.
Take it slow as it is difficult to move after this step.
Any mistakes made in alignment or folding can be redone by slowly removing with 50% alcohol and re-applying adhesive.
Set with any makeup powder or baby powder.
Apply any desired makeup for skin areas as well as a layer over the initial PAX paint.
How do you remove foam latex prosthetics?
Using adhesive remover available with the prosthetic kit, begin lifting a loose edge while spraying generously. Use a cotton swab while pulling the lifted area to separate the prosthetic from the skin. Once the prosthetic is removed, clean the face of residuals with a makeup wipe or soap and a towel. Follow with your preferred skin cleansing routine.
How do you re-use foam latex prosthetics?
When removing the foam latex prosthetic the first time, avoid any oil based remover including the adhesive remover from the prosthetic kit. Remove gently from a lifted edge with cotton swabs and 50% alcohol. Do this carefully and try not to pull too hard to ensure the prosthetic remains in its original shape. Once off, apply a thin layer of baby powder or makeup powder to seal the residual adhesive so the prosthetic does not adhere to itself prior to your next application. When applying again, use a more generous amount of pros-aide than before as the adhesion lessens with each past wearing layer.

Dental Appliances
What is the difference between standard costume teeth appliances and vaccuformed dental appliances?
These are reusable for several years without any major changes to teeth such as reshaping dental work or natural shifting. They are molded to your exact mouth and teeth shape for comfort, longevity and durability. It is easier to speak and close your mouth with these rather than standard melting plastic forms because there is less thickness and a better hold.
PLEASE Do not eat with dental appliances inside mouth. Preferably drink with a straw but it is not necessary.
What is the process for dental appliances?
DENTAL PROSTHETIC PRODUCTION TIME IS ESTIMATED 7-14 DAYS AFTER TEETH MOLDS ARRIVE TO THE SHOP DEPENDING ON DESIGN COMPLEXITY.
The dental process is around 2-3 weeks overall in production time.
Package one includes TWO-PART FAST SET Dental Putty for the upper and lower row of teeth. The mixing time for the putty is 1 minute and an additional 1 minute set time inside the mouth, so an additional extra set of putty is provided to ensure an accurate mold. Upper and lower dental trays are provided for the putty application. One extra set is provided as well.
Dental casting will be scheduled and done through a one-time zoom call to ensure the process is followed and the molds are successful.
You will be provided the materials to cast your own dental mold and a shipping label to send them back to be casted and molded on. PLEASE keep the original box for re-sending.
IF all initial mold castings are failed in production, an additional putty and tray set listing is available on my shop.
Package Two will include the finished products, dental cleansing tablets and denture adhesive.
When deciding your appliance option, please read below.

What if this is not my first time purchasing dental appliances from RGFX?
If your first dental mold casting was done semi recently or you have no changes to your teeth (i.e.- shifting, extractions, fillings, chipping) then your molds are saved for reuse in the shop and new purchases are a much faster process. Please message through e-mail or Etsy prior to placing your order to receive a coupon as a token of appreciation & to reduce the cost of the initial mold and call process.
